I am Linda Matthews Godwin. With the exception of living in New Bern, NC for 5 years, I have been a Wilson girl all my life. I started out working in the Medical Field working at what was known as the Old Wilson Clinic as a “Floater” giving me the opportunity to work for a multitude of physicians. After the clinic closed, I went to work at the Wilson County Health Department working in the alcohol & drug abuse center. That was an experience that led me to believe I had more to offer. I procured my real estate license while working there and became a full time REALTOR in 1995. I enjoy working with people. Helping families find the perfect home as well as helping sellers as they climb the property ladder (or inevitably downsize) is what I do everyday. In addition to “normal” real estate transactions, I began working with REO properties (foreclosures) in 1997 and became a local expert in this specific area of real estate.
I have continued to learn and become more knowledgeable with the experience I have gained over the past 20+ years in the real estate industry. I will put the knowledge I have gained to work for you and your family.
