Wilson is such a great place to live and I am so fortunate to be a part of this community where people are friendly and strangers still speak to each other on the street. I am a native of Fuquay Varina, NC and we have lived in Raleigh, NC and Fort Collins, CO. My husband, Damon Pope, is a native of Wilson. When we had a chance to move back we jumped at it and we bought the Pope family home where Damon’s parents, Bob and Ruth Pope, lived for 57 years. It is our goal to live up to the standards of community involvement and service that the Pope’s lived by for 70 years as Wilsonians.
